Established in Northampton in 1906, George Cox are known for their exceptional craftsmanship and connection to British subcultural movements. Today we’ve been working on a series of collaborative pieces, taking influence from the shoemakers’ archive, as well as our own. This style combines features of our archive tennis shoe with details taken from classic George Cox designs. The boot-style shape, heel tab and side stitching are borrowed from the monkey boot, with the chunky rubber sole taken from the ‘brothel creeper’: the shoemakers’ signature style. The sports-style profile and leather construction reference our archive tennis shoe.Upper: Leather / Sole: Crepe. Not Washable.
